Location. The Hyatt Regency Xian is located in the city center of Xian, China, one and one half kilometers from the Drum and Bell towers and South Gate, and four kilometers from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shaanxi History Museum.
Hotel Features. A contemporary hotel modeled after an ancient Chinese palace, the Hyatt Regency Xian features a 12 story atrium with a glass ceiling. The hotel also includes a shopping arcade and beauty services. Pets are not permitted in the hotel.
Guestrooms. The 12 story hotel's 315 guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with dark finish furnishings, large windows and Asian accents. Amenities include premium Hyatt bedding with cotton linens and down duvets, marble and granite bathrooms, coffee and tea makers, minibars, refrigerators, and complimentary bottled water. Rooms also offer high speed Internet access for a fee, premium television channels and direct dial phones.
Expert Tip. Xian's Shaanxi History Museum houses more than 100,000 items, including gold, silver, bronze, ceramics, coins, paintings, murals, weapons, statuary, scrolls, textiles, calligraphy and lacquer ware. The museum was built in a Tang Dynasty architectural style with graceful peaked roof lines and columns, and is set in a park like landscaped environment.
