The Salako Beach Resort Clipper is a modern complex situated next to a fine sandy beach on the Guadeloupe Rivieria of the Pointe de la Verdure, three kilometres from Gosier's town centre. The 270 air conditioned guestrooms are approximately 24 square metres and have modern d?cor in soft pastel colours with light wooden furnishings. All guestrooms have balconies with sea or garden views, direct dial phones, safes, Internet connections, climate control, satellite television and bathrooms with showers and hair dryers.
The hotel has three restaurants serving and range of dishes from Creole and French cuisine buffet style, to intimate beachside ? la carte dining. Guests can enjoy a dip in one of two freshwater swimming pools, or simply relax on a sun bed with a drink from the poolside bar. Many sporting and leisure activities are available free of charge, including beach volley, tennis court hire and table tennis. For a charge, catamarans are available, plus windsurfing, canoeing, deep sea diving, water skiing, sea tours and the loan of snorkelling equipment. Kids will enjoy the children's pool and games and activities at the kids' club, and parents will appreciate the babysitting service. For fitness fans, gym equipment is available, and for those who like shopping, the hotel has two boutiques. In the evenings, guests can enjoy live music and themed entertainment. The beach is next to the hotel, and shops, restaurants and a casino can be found within three kilometres. Pointe a Pitre Airport is approximately 15 kilometres and a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
